How do clear aligners work?

Clear aligners are thin plastic trays that slot over your teeth and look a bit like mouthguards. Your child will be given a series of aligners that are each shaped slightly differently to guide their smile into alignment little by little over the course of treatment.

To create their custom aligners, we will use our cutting-edge 3D scanner to make a digital model of their smile. This model doesn’t require any bit moulds to be made and allows your child’s Specialist Orthodontist to plan their treatment from start to finish.

Aligners are removable, so your child doesn’t need to adjust their diet or oral hygiene habits during treatment. They just need to wear their aligners for 20-22 hours daily for the best results.
